Purpose of this forum

Hi,

Well since this is now a closely knit forum consisting of people we know very well, i will cut the formality and get to the point of the forum directly.
Primarily this forum is an online meeting point for people with an intention to give back to society in some way possible as a token of appreciation for all that we have achieved with societies help.

To a great extent, this forum is a common point to discuss ways to cleanse our conscience by indulging in such activities often referred to as "social service", yet which are in many ways services to satisfy thy self. However, such acts are commendable since they benefit more people than one, and the intentions more often than not involve the good of a large number of people-not as blessed as us, or so we percieve!

Their are a large number of NGOs and social service forums where one can indulge in such activities but still i feel that most people on this forum will normally be here since they have not yet been able to become a member of this vast pool of social sevice points inspite of harbouring such intentions, probaly because of lazziness or a shear lack of motivation due to the inability to see an opprtunity to contribute considerably. This shall be the usp of this forum, the sheer fact that it consists and is built of people who always wanted to contribute to society yet couldn't manage to get motivated enough. Let us all try to achieve as a group, what we have not yet been able to achieve as individuals.

Regarding the activities:
a. There is no fixed agenda and plan.
b. However, it is expected that the members of this forum will collectively discuss and decide on the same.
c. To avoid a leader - follower situation, we shall build this forum , from scratch as a team with each member being responsible for its growth and activities.
Hence, the vision, mission, theme, activities, etc shall all be decided post discussion on this forum and that is how facewash shall evolve.

So now come one and all, lets sacrifice a bit of our laziness and get about thinking creatively to start on our journey of giving back and cleansing our conscience. Lets all pour in with our ideas with a focus on the fact these ideas will remain ideas unless they are practical enough to be converted into action.
